We offer compact cages perfect for desktops as well as large enclosures that give hamsters room to roam.
Dog Crates
Pawhut® dog crates go beyond just containment – they’re designed to make dogs feel relaxed and at home. Available in wire, metal, and wood frames, our crates suit different spaces and temperaments. They come in a range of sizes from tiny crates for small puppies to giant crates that give big dogs room to stretch out. Each crate includes a machine washable mat for comfort.
Rabbit Hutches
Our spacious rabbit hutches allow bunnies to hop and play while keeping them safe from other pets and outdoor dangers. Choose from practical stackable hutches perfect for small spaces or expansive multi-level hutches that mimic the dimensions of a rabbit’s natural environment. Pawhut® cat trees provide cats with vertical space to climb, perch, scratch, and lounge. They’re handcrafted from natural sisal rope, compressed wood, and plush to entice curious cats.

Our Story
Pawhut® emerged from a simple recognition – pet supplies shouldn’t be so expensive that they’re out of reach for average pet parents. We believed that pet owners deserved better access to the quality products they needed to properly care for their companions.
Armed with this mission, we set out to upend the status quo of the pet market. We dreamed of developing innovative, contemporary designs that merged clever functionality with attractive aesthetics. And we envisioned introducing direct-to-consumer online retail to significantly cut costs for customers.
In 2015, we took the first steps toward making this a reality by launching Pawhut®. Initially offering just a few hamster cages and cat trees, we were determined to expand our catalog with more categories like dog crates, rabbit hutches, pet pens, and beyond.
Our early days were spent researching materials, experimenting with manufacturing techniques, poring over design plans, and searching for the right factory partners. It took immense passion and perseverance to work out the kinks and begin efficiently producing quality pet supplies.
But the effort paid off – pets and owners responded enthusiastically. As word spread, Pawhut® continued to grow. Today we serve hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide and our products can be found in many major retailers.
Even as we’ve expanded, our tight-knit team has maintained our startup spirit. We remain as hands-on, invested, and excited about enhancing pets’ lives as we were back in 2015. The journey so far has only strengthened our core belief – with innovation and care, pet parents can access everything they need to help pets thrive.

Pawhut® was founded by two long-time friends and pet owners – James Wilson and Alicia Chang.
